Elliot and I met at Southern Virginia University in the fall semester of '08. We texted a lot since then and became really good friends. We stated talking on the phone in May and wanted to start dating. I flew up to see him in Washington to see him and it was so hard to leave. We continued to talk on the phone almost every night... He came to visit me on my birthday on the 16th of July and he proposed on the 17th!
